What is Education?

While waking up every day to attend classes, do regular homework and assignments may feel pretty dull and hectic to you, it also opens up windows of opportunities like nothing else.

In our brief life, we have got so many things to do, and you must be wondering while we can very well happily spend the time in cartoons and video games, why bother studying?

Well, let me share one secret with all of you. The work that you put in today, even if monotonous bears the sweet fruits for tomorrow. See, whatever you do in life, never goes in vain.

The struggle you are putting in today will bear its sweetness when you will get that extra marks in your test or will pass on to the next class where you would feel more confident. Your early education years will enlighten you, see studying it’s not merely gaining the ability to read and write.

When we say, the education we cross the barriers and extend to the core knowledge, the enlightenment that makes people dream and achieves big. Every child is unique in its own way, and education is one of the most fundamental building blocks of that child.

It elevates poverty, situation, vision, and scope. When in India there are over 35 million children who do not go to school, we the ones who are lucky enough to witness the light of knowledge should use education as a weapon to improve the lives of others.

• It promises you the safe home of a secured life
• It provides more room for equality in a society
• It keeps your head held high and gives you a boost of confidence
• Education makes you more aware of events so it’s highly unlikely that you would do something stupid or commit a grave mistake out of being naive.
• It makes you self-reliant. So, you are ready to face the world all by yourself.
• With education comes the hope of financial independence, which is so valuable to survive in a modern-day world.
• Just imagine, the toys, the video games you wanna play all of that you would be able to get by yourself, even without asking your parents. And how’s that possible? It’s possible if you work hard with our soul now!
• It also makes you a better and a more responsible citizen. It drives your consciousness and makes you more aware of right and wrong.
• And vital machinery in propagating education is school, it plays an immense role in not only imparting knowledge to a child, but the peers and the social interaction a child gets makes children take up social skills.
• These social skills are very important in inculcating habits like sharing with each other, caring for one other, and kindness. These qualities make one humane.

Through all of these points, we can very clearly estimate the importance education plays in a child’s life and how a school is indispensable in shaping that.
